PRO STOCK 4X4 

Ballast
  1. Maximum weight: 6300 pounds
  2. Front weight bracket can’t extend more than 195” from the center of the rear axle. Weight may not extend more than 65” from the centerline of the front axle.
  3. A tab must be welded on the center of the front axle for measuring.
  4. Weights can’t exceed the width of the vehicle.
  5. All weight or ballast must be securely fastened.
Chassis and Suspension
  1. OEM frame rail only permitted.
  2. Suspension may be block or solid.
  3. No air or hydraulic suspension systems.
  4. Max width of truck is 102”.
Battery
  1. Batteries are not allowed in the cab.
  2. Manual battery disconnect, easily accessible and clearly marked, is required.
Dress Code
  1. DOT-approved helmet must be worn and fastened.
  2. Leather shoes, pants, fire suit, and gloves are required.
  3. Fireproof boots are highly recommended.
Body
  1. Sheet metal must conform to the wheelbase.
  2. Fiberglass bodies are permitted.
  3. Must have a full firewall.
  4. Bed floor can be removed. If the floor is removed, it must have a bed cover.
  5. No mud flaps or dirt deflectors.
Tires
  1. Tires must be DOT-approved and no larger than 36x16.50.
  2. Must have factory tire size stamped for verification. If the size is removed, they will be considered illegal.
  3. No studded tires or tire chains.
  4. No alterations to tires permitted.
  5. No bar or terra tires.
  6. No dual tires.
Safety Equipment
  1. All trucks must have at least a six-inch-wide u-joint shield around the rear u-joint, constructed of at least 5/16-inch steel or 3/8-inch aluminum that will safely contain the u-joint and the end of the driveshaft. All shields must be securely mounted to the vehicle. Any front shaft u-joints that can be visibly seen from the side of the truck must be shielded to contain the u-joint and the end of the driveshaft.
  2. Axle shields are required. Shield to be .060” thickness steel or aluminum. A hole may be cut in one shield to allow operation of the hub lock.
  3. Safety switch will be securely mounted to the back of the vehicle. A 2-inch or larger solid ring must be attached to the end of the switch. Ring must be zip-tied to the switch bracket. The switch must also be able to be activated in the cab while the driver is secured in the vehicle.
Drive Line
  1. Any front axle and rear axle allowed.
  2. Drop boxes are allowed.
  3. Any transfer case allowed.
  4. Totally enclosed bell housing is required. Must meet SFI Spec 6.1 or better. All vehicles not inspected for highway use must have:
    • Manual transmission: Flywheel shield
    • Automatic transmission: SFI Spec. 29.1 flex plate. No cast iron permitted.
    • A positive gear lockout, approved safety blanket over the torque converter area. A full-length blanket is required. Must meet SFI Spec. 4.1
Driver Restraint System
  1. Seatbelts are required and recommended to be fastened and worn during competition.
Brakes
  1. Must have front working brakes.
Exhaust
  1. Open headers are permitted.
  2. All vehicles must be equipped with upward-pointing exhaust out of the truck hood or run under the fender/downward.
Fire Extinguisher
  1. All vehicles must have a 2 1/2 lb. dry chemical fire extinguisher.
  2. Must be securely mounted within reach of the driver.
Fuel
  1. No fuel tanks or fuel lines in the cab.
  2. Tanks may be mounted on the front weight box.
  3. No nitrous.
  4. No power adders.
Hitch
  1. Must be rigid in all directions.
  2. No bolts in the hitch, must be forged pins.
  3. From the point of the hook to the centerline of the rear axle shall be no less than 27% of the wheelbase.
  4. Maximum hitch height of 26” with a minimum of 3.75” x 3” opening.
  5. A tab must be welded in the center of the rear axle to assist in measuring.
Engine
  1. No cubic inch limit.
  2. Any aluminum cylinder head permitted.
  3. Aluminum blocks are permitted.
  4. Single naturally aspirated carburetor.
  5. Any intake allowed.
  6. Any engine allowed with any make body.
  7. Rear of the block must be 12” behind the center of the front axle tube.
    • All fans must be shrouded at least 180 degrees on top.
    • One 4-barrel carb max.
    • Blow proof harmonic balancer or 360-degree shield is highly recommended.
